Corvin Castle

Transfăgărășanul

Transfăgărășan is one of the longest and most spectacular mountain roads in our country. The road stretches over a length of 92 kilometers, on the territories of Argeș and Sibiu counties and crosses, from south to north, the Făgăraș Mountains, making the connection between the historical regions of Muntenia and Transylvania.

Păltiniș

Here there are also three villas, over a century old, declared historical monuments - the House of Tourists, the House of Doctors and the Monaco Hall - the Memorial House "Constantin Noica" and the Hermitage "Change in the Face", the place where he is buried.

The fortified church from Cisnadioara

The fortified church from Cisnădioara is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Sibiu County. It was built on top of a hill, in the locality of the same name, at the beginning of the 12th century, between the years 1162-1223. This is a stone church surrounded by walls, also made of stone, which served as a defense. The church and the walls can still be admired today. In addition to its beauty and history, the church is also known for housing the oldest organ with tubes in Romania in working order (built in the eighteenth century) and due to its very good acoustics, which is why many concerts are organized here and cultural events.
